Information we collect
Depending on the features you use, we collect account details such as name, email, mobile number, profile photo, locale, and time zone; medication schedules, dose history, notes, and adherence information; technical configuration, diagnostics, and sync data; notification tokens and preferences; and optional profile, caregiver, emergency-contact, and location information you choose to provide.
Authentication providers may give us identifiers and verified contact details. We also receive basic technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure your account, deliver reminders, synchronize app data, show medication history, provide caregiver and emergency features you activate, send service communications, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
PillNex is a medication-management aid and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or emergency services.
Sharing and service providers
We share information only as needed with infrastructure, email/SMS, authentication, and notification providers acting for us; when you direct sharing with a caregiver or emergency contact; or when required by law. We do not sell personal information or use health information for targeted advertising.
Retention and deletion
We keep account data while your account is active and only as long as needed to provide the service, protect security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, PillNex permanently deletes the account and associated app data, except information we are legally required to retain. Backups may age out on a limited operational schedule and are not used to restore deleted accounts.
Your choices
You can update profile and notification settings in the app, withdraw optional permissions in device settings, request account deletion in the app or on our account-deletion page, and contact support@pillnex.com about access, correction, portability, objection, or restriction rights that apply where you live.
Security, children, and changes
We use access controls, encryption in transit, authentication, and operational safeguards. No system is completely secure. PillNex is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their country unless a parent or lawful guardian manages the account.
We may update this policy and will post the revised date and provide additional notice when required.
